PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowerpot housing box ensured not to cause such unfavorablenesses as water putrefaction, insect breeding and the root rot of a plant planted therein as much as possible while preventing surplus water given to the plant from leaking into the outside. SOLUTION: This flowerpot housing box comprises a watertight box body 1 with the top opened and a pot-supporting metallic plate 2 set at the bottom of the box body 1; wherein the metallic plate 2 is of corrugated shape with projections 20 and recesses 21 arranged alternately.
