The emptying mechanism (200) for one compartment (110a) of a transporter tank is located over a distribution tunnel (130) and connected to it through at least one opening (142a, 142b) closed by a mobile cover plate (220a, 220b), the product being discharged from the tunnel by an air flow created by a turbine at one end. The cover plates have seals (250) along the edges of their undersides to ensure that the openings are sealed when closed and the air flow cleaning power is maintained as it travels through the tunnel.
