PURPOSE: A reservation-recording method and apparatus of a digital TV are provided to confirm a TV mode and a reservation recording state of VCR and control a recording operation through a specific pin of SCART2 based on the confirmed result. CONSTITUTION: Reservation recording previously set is canceled if a TV mode is a standby mode and an input signal from VCR exists in a specific pin of SCART2 or the input signal exists in the pin in a video mode at the reservation recording time previously set. A recording starting command is output through the pin to perform reservation recording when the TV mode is the standby mode and the input signal does not exist in the pin. Reservation recording is canceled or a corresponding channel is tuned and then the recording starting command is output through the pin to carry out reservation recording when it is judged that a channel currently being watched is not a channel to be reservation-recorded. |
