PURPOSE: A device and method for indicating pressure of refrigerant gas for air conditioner are provided to inform a user of replacement timing of refrigerant and to protect a machine. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a compressor(32); a condenser(31); an evaporator(34); a pressure sensor(33); and a device comparing pressure of refrigerant detected by the pressure sensor with a first and a second preset low pressures to indicate warning; and a device stopping operation. A method includes five steps. The first step is to detect pressure of refrigerant. The second step is to compare the pressure of refrigerant with the first low pressure. The third step is to compare the pressure of refrigerant with the second low pressure. The fourth step is to indicate warning according to the comparison. The fifth step is to stop operation according to the comparison.
