PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosionproof type industrial vehicle, in which the mechanical strength of the upper wall of an explosionproof container is maintained, while a good forward visibility is secured and the visibility of a display monitor can be improved. SOLUTION: In the exlosionproof type industrial vehicle 10, an opening 22 for a display monitor 21 is formed on the upper wall of the explosionproof container 15. For closing of the opening 22, a glass plate 26 is provided on the back surface 20a of the upper wall 20. On the back surface 26A of the glass plate 26, a liquid crystal panel 28 for the display monitor 21 is provided. Thus a driver 30 can see the display monitor 21 from his position, wherein at least the part of a rim 23 facing the driver's side has a beveled part 25, out of the rim 23 forming the opening 22.
