The relay magnetic system has at least 2 parallel, magnetically separated, iron parts (15,16), extending over the full length of a common coil device (18), each forming part of a magnetic circuit for operation of a magnetic armature for controlling a contact system. The distance between the iron parts in the interior of the coil is less than the maximum cross-section of each iron part.
