The invention relates to a device for producing laser light. Said device comprises a laser-active main resonator (2) and a non-linear resonator (6) which is coupled thereto. The two resonators (2, 6) are defined by mirrors (8, 4; 4, 10), one mirror (4) being common to the main resonator (2) and the non-linear resonator (6) coupled thereto. Said non-linear resonator (6) is designed for power dissipation of less than 63 % of the power coupled via the mirror defining the main resonator (2) and the non-linear resonator (6), and the laser-active main resonator is designed in such a way that it has a threshold pumping power, when the laser is in operation, of less than a fifth, preferably less than a tenth, of the pumping power used to stimulate said resonator.
