PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head for dot printer having a pin member which can be positioned more accurately with respect to a leaf spring. SOLUTION: The print head 2 for dot printer comprises a resiliently deformable leaf spring 6 provided with a pin member 5 at the forward end part 6a thereof, and a mechanism 7 for shifting the forward end part 6a of the leaf spring 6 instantaneously in a specified direction wherein printing is performed dot by dot by impacting a sheet C carriable in the longitudinal direction with the pin member 5 through an ink ribbon 3. The pin member 5 comprises a holder 36 bonded to the leaf spring 6, and a ball 35 held on the holder 36 to touch the ink ribbon 3.
