PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform machining of a valve seat surface and a valve guide hole with high precision as a defect, such as the occurrence of a step to the valve guide hole of the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, is prevented from occurring. SOLUTION: A composite machining tool 10 comprises tool bodies 12 and 26 each having a taper part engaged with a taper hole formed in a rotary main spindle 66 of a machining center 50; cutters 44, 46, and 48 for machining a valve seat surface situated at the tip parts of the tool bodies 12 and 26; a reamer 22c for machining a valve guide hole situated axially movably forward and backward to and from the tool bodies 12 and 26 by the pressure of a coolant fed to the internal parts of the tool bodies 12 and 26 by a pressure of a coolant fed to the internal parts of the tool bodies 12 and 26 through the rotary main spindle 66 of the machining center 50; and a blade 22b for machining a pilot hole during machining of a valve guide hole situated at the tip part of the reamer 22c. A valve seat surface and a valve guide hole are machined by using the composite machining tool 10.
