PURPOSE: A multiplier apparatus in a digital automatic gain controller(AGC) is provided, which improves a performance of the digital automatic gain controller and also assures a flexibility in realizing a hardware and makes a design easy. CONSTITUTION: An output signal(loop_out) of a loop filter is stored in the first register(100), and an input signal(AGC_IN_I/Q) of an AGC(Automatic Gain Controller) is stored in the second register(110) of the first multiplier(140). Then, a signal from the first register and a signal from the second register are multiplied each other in the first and the second multiplier part(120,130) and is output to be stored in the fourth register(160). And the signal from the first register is stored in the third register. Also, a signal from the third register and a signal from the fourth register are multiplied each other in the third and the fourth multiplier part(170,180) and is output to be stored in the 2Nth register(210). And the signal from the third register is stored in the (N-2)th register(200). Finally, a signal from the (N+2)th register(150) and a signal from the 2Nth register are multiplied each other in the (N+3)th and the (N+4)th multiplier part(220,230) to output an AGC_OUT_I/Q signal respectively.
