PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction unit of ink jet printer in which the suction sequence time can be shortened while preventing scattering of ink. SOLUTION: The suction unit comprises one or a plurality of suction caps for sucking ink from the nozzle of one or a plurality of ink jet heads in an ink jet printer. The suction unit has a bottom wall part for supporting the one or a plurality of suction caps. A wall for preventing scattering of ink is provided around the one or a plurality of suction caps while rising from the bottom wall part. Consequently, scattering of ink can be prevented. |
