SOLUTION: A deodorizing device has a ozone generating part 3 part generates ozone, a sensor 4 that emits light or ultrasonic wave to an outer part of the device as well as detects its reflecting light or wave, and a control part 5 that allows the ozone generating part 3 to generate ozone when the reflecting light or wave is not detected by the sensor 4.
