PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate facet machining of a required shape. SOLUTION: This lens grinding device comprises a means for inputting spectacles lens shape data and an optical center layout data to the lens shape; a detecting means for detecting a position of an edge corner portion of a finished lens on the basis of inputted data; an edge corner portion machining means having a cutting tool for facet machining a corner portion of the finished lens, and relatively moving the cutting tool to a holding shaft of the lens; a range specifying means for indicating the exterior shape of the lens before facet machining, and specifying a range to be facet machined by using the indicated exterior of the lens; a selecting means for selecting a facet style; and a computing means for computing machining data for facet machining on the basis of the selected facet style and the position of the edge corner portion in the specified range.
