The pneumatic suspension has the induction side of its pump (20) connected via at least one valve to the storage container (40) or the air springs (50) to form a closed compressed air system with integral pressure sensor. The air guiding cavities of the pump, or at least those between the induction side and the compression side, are tightly sealed.
