STRUCTURE FOR TAKING IN AND DISCHARGING AIR OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A structure for taking in and discharging air of air conditioner is provided to slantly discharge cold air to side surfaces. CONSTITUTION: Slant discharge surfaces(18) are formed between a front surface and side surfaces of a main body(10) of an air conditioner. Slant air outlets(20) are formed on upper parts of the slant discharge surfaces. An air inlet(12) is formed on an upper part of the front surface of the main body. An indoor heat exchanger(14) is installed to have an intake chamber(13) behind the air inlet. Cross flow fans(16) are installed in separate chambers(17), separated from the intake chamber of the indoor heat exchanger, to discharge cold air through the slant air outlets.
