<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can prevent a positional deviation of dots for forming images in both a horizontal scanning direction and a vertical scanning direction and can obtain high-quality images. SOLUTION: A laser array 12A has a plurality of semiconductor lasers 26 arranged in arrays in two dimensions. In this case, an element interval Lm(1)- Lm(n) in the horizontal scanning direction is changed so as to suppress positional defects of images on the basis of vertical scanning direction positions. Therefore, a distortion of images by a curvature of an outer circumferential face of a photoreceptor drum can be suppressed when images are formed on the outer circumferential face. Accurate images can be formed accordingly.</p> |
