PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control system for a showcase which can save energy by turning on or off the illumination device depending on whether there is any customer or not. SOLUTION: A control part 10 turns on an illumination device 5 for a showcase 1, when a customer comes into the detection range of an object detecting sensor 7, and the control part 10 turns off the illumination device 5 after an interval of a specified time when the customer goes out of the detection range. Also, a first control part 101 turns on a first illumination device 51 and transmits a signal to turn on a second illumination device 52 to a second control part 102 when a customer comes into the detection range A1 of a first object detecting sensor 71, and the first control part 101 turns off the first illumination device 51 and transmits a signal to the second control part 102 to turn off the second illumination device 52.
