PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clipping character maker capable of automatically performing a series of processes up to tearing off of an unnecessary sheet part from supply of a half cut sheet. SOLUTION: This clipping character maker is provided with a sheet supply mechanism 11 for supplying the half cut sheet A on a sheet traveling passage 7, a sheet sending mechanism 12 for reciprocally sending the half cut sheet A on the sheet traveling passage 7, a cutting plotter mechanism 13 for cutting an outline of a character by cooperating with the sheet sending mechanism 12, a sheet separating mechanism 14 for tearing off the unnecessary sheet part from a releasing sheet by cooperating with the sheet sending mechanism 12, a controller 15 for generally controlling these mechanisms, and a device case 4 for housing these.
