FIXING DEVICE FOR TOILET SEAT SUPPORTING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a toilet seat supporting member which facilitates attaching and detaching the toilet seat supporting member. SOLUTION: Supporting rods 32 are inserted into a fixing hole 2 vertically bored in a western style toilet 1. A pair of arms 34 are pivoted at lower ends of the supporting rods 32 and wires 35 are connected to the arms 34. The winding up of the wires 35 by a winch 37 turns the arms 34 upwardly and make it abut on the lower surface of the western style toilet 1, so that a toilet seat box 30 is fixed on the western style toilet 1. And winding off the wires 35 from the winch 37 makes the arms 34 downward, so that the arms can be drawn out of the fixing hole 2 with the supporting rods 32.
