The present invention relates to a protein component that contains proteins usually used in the food production, wherein at least 20 wt. % of these proteins have at least one phosphate residue covalently linked to the protein. An amount of between 50 and 100 wt. % of the proteins having at least one covalently linked phosphate residue has been submitted to a dephosphorylation reaction during which between 20 and 100 wt. % of the covalently linked phosphate residue have been removed. This invention also relates to the use of this protein component for treating adult and young patients as well as infants or children of tender age affected by disorders of the gastric-intestinal motility, or even patients susceptible to be affected by reflux. |
