PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling power in a foldable portable terminal is provided to turn on the power of a terminal without the necessity of opening a sub body. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling power in a foldable portable terminal comprises an automatic folder open/close key(180), a power key(190), the first switch(300), the second switch(302), a power supply control circuit part(306), and a control part(200). The first switch(300) and the second switch(302) are switched under the control of the control part(200). The control part(200) conducts switching control for these switches(300,302) according to the power on/off state of the terminal. The automatic folder open/close key(180) and the power key(190) are connected to a battery power source(Vbat). The automatic folder open/close key(180) is connected to one end of the first switch(300) and one end of the second switch(302) through a node(N1) in common. The other end of the first switch(300) is connected with the first input port of the control part(200), to which a sub body open/close control signal is inputted. The power key(190) is connected to the other ends of the first switch(300) and the second switch(302) through a node(N2) in common. A power control signal(PWC) is inputted to the second input port of the control part(200). |
