PURPOSE: A master device for bluetooth communications and a method for forming a beacon channel is provided to adjust channels so as to increase the utilization of channels according to the connection status of each slave device. CONSTITUTION: A master device(10) includes a transmit-receive part(11), a connection status computation part(13), a park parameter computation part(15), and a control part(17). The transmit-receive part(11) receives a signal transmitted from each slave device(20) and sends a transmission object signal. The connection status computation part(13) computes status information, containing the number of parked slave devices and the type of a slave device maintaining synchronous connection, from the signals received from the transmit-receive part(11). The park parameter computation part(15) computes a park parameter, containing the number of synchronous beacon slots to be applied for a beacon channel to maintain a communication channel with the parked slaved devices, the number of access windows, and the number of slots for each access window, from the status information provided from the connection status computation part(13). The control part(17) forms a beacon channel according to the park parameter computed at the park parameter computation part(15) and executes communication with slave devices(20) through the transmit-receive part(11).
