PURPOSE: A chainless bicycle is provided to transmit power by a cable and bevel gears instead of a chain and to make the front and rear wheel move together according to the motion of handlebars. CONSTITUTION: A cable forming bevel gears at both ends to transmit power from the power unit to wheels is installed to a bicycle. Bevel gears engaging with the bevel gears of the cable are installed at a side end of a crank and at the hub of the wheel. A multistage transmission is installed. A main gear(17) has spline coupling to the crank shaft(7-1) fixed to the pedal of the bicycle and rotates according to the rotation of the crank shaft. A first idle gear(18) and second idle gear(19) having a bigger diameter than the diameter of the main gear are installed. A first, second, and third change gear(20,21,22) each engaging with the main gear, and the first and second idle gear are installed to other shaft. A fist downward bevel gear(11-1) is installed to the second change gear and a second downward bevel gear(11-2) is installed to the third change gear. A first and second bevel upward gear(12-1,12-2) corresponding to the first and second bevel downward gear are installed.
