PURPOSE: Provided is a shaft for a fishing rod, which improves conductibility, elasticity and structural strength, and is pleasant to the touch. CONSTITUTION: The shaft for a fishing rod is characterized by comprising a core(11) having a pipe shape composed of multi-layered fiber including an inner layer(11a), a middle layer(11b) and an outer layer(11c); at least 2 metal wires arranged along the length of the core thereinside; a metal coating layer(13) coating metals having good conductibility at the outer surface of the core; and a finishing surface layer(14) coating the outer surface of the metal coating layer with a resin pleasant to the touch.
