APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING TOP GAS PRESSURE IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling top gas pressure in a blast furnace is provided which controls the top gas pressure so that a stable top gas pressure is maintained during charging of raw materials into the blast furnace by increasing a pressure of a hopper in the state that raw materials are supplied into the hopper. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for controlling top gas pressure in a blast furnace in which operation of the blast furnace is performed by supplying raw materials from a hopper and charging the raw materials supplied from the hopper into the blast furnace, the apparatus for controlling top gas pressure in the blast furnace comprises a connection means(40) which is connected to the hopper and the blast furnace so that a gas inside the furnace passes through the connection means(40); an open-and-shut means(41) which is installed at the connection means(40) so as to control flowing of the gas inside the furnace passing through the connection means(40); and a control means(23) controlling opening or closing of the open-and-shut means(41) depending on the supplying state of raw materials of the hopper, the charging state of the raw materials from the hopper into the blast furnace and the equalized pressure state between the hopper and the blast furnace.
