PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously treating apparatus which can continuously feed a solid material to a pressure control chamber such as a pressure heat sterilization chamber and take out the solid material sterilized by heating in the pressure control chamber from the pressure control chamber by a simple process without requiring a complicated control mechanism of pressurizing and pressure reducing operation processes, has a simple mechanism and can miniaturize a facility. SOLUTION: This apparatus for continuously treating a solid material is characterized in that the apparatus for continuously treating a solid material is equipped with a tubular transportation body provided with a pressure control part, a retainer furnished with a throttling piece having an area slightly smaller than the sectional area of the tubular transportation body so that a labyrinth seal is formed at least either at the upstream side or at the downstream side of the pressure control part installed in the tubular transportation body and a retainer transportation apparatus for transporting a plurality of the retainers charged with the solid material in the tubular transportation body, the end part of one the tubular transportation body among a plurality of the tubular transportation bodies which are arranged approximately parallel is connected to the starting part of another tubular transportation body through a retainer return part so that the traveling directions of the retainers are opposite directions, at least one tubular transportation body is inclined at a fixed angle and the tubular transportation bodies are installed in a multistage process. |
