PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edible salt capable of pickling seaweed (Undaria Pinnatifida) instead of a conventional edible salt for pickling seaweed (Undaria Pinnatifida) and also improving the seaweed quality as e.g. softening prevention. SOLUTION: This edible salt contains an inorganic calcium salt and/or an organic calcium salt at an appropriate wt.% ratio of concentration, and through using the edible salt containing calcium at an appropriate wt.% concentration for processing seaweed (Undaria Pinnatifida), gives a slight affect to the taste of the seaweed and can pickle the seaweed and also improve the quality thereof as e.g. resistance to the teeth. |
