<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball excellent in flying performance. SOLUTION: This golf ball has four kinds of dimples of A to D. The A dimple and the B dimple are a tear-shaped dimple as a special-shaped dimple. The C dimple and the D dimple are a circular dimple. The noncircular dimple ratio is 77% to 92%. The circular dimple ratio is 8% to 23%. The ratio of the total number of the special-shaped dimples occupied in the whole noncircular dimples is not less than 80%. When the dimple number of a kind having the minimum contour line length is Ns and the dimple number of a kind having the maximum contour line length is Nb among the whole kinds of special-shaped dimples, this ratio (Ns/Nb) is 20/80 to 80/20. A dimple pattern in a semisphere is 120 deg. rotational symmetry or 90 deg. rotational symmetry. This golf ball has a special land part Ls.</p> |
