PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella which is not attached with the conventional spring structure. SOLUTION: This umbrella comprises a movable cylinder part attached to a lower end of a runner and a fixed cylinder body which is fixed to the outer circumference of a shaft, and the movable cylinder part and the fixed cylinder body concentrically engage each other when the runner comes down to close the umbrella, and an easy detachable locking device is attached between the movable cylinder part and the fixed cylinder body and prevents the runner from moving up to open the umbrella though it allows the runner to go down additionally to close the umbrella.
