<p>PURPOSE: To provide a capping method and a capping device of a liquid crystal display element cell capable of reducing the difference of time required for applying a UV curing capping material to an injection port and easily controlling the applied shape and the applied quantity of the UV curing capping material, when the injection port of an especially small size liquid crystal display element cell is capped. CONSTITUTION: In the capping device 10 of the liquid crystal display element cell 12, by which the UV curing capping material is applied to the injection port of the liquid crystal display element cell 12 comprising a pair of substrates opposed to each other and joined at a prescribed interval by a sealing material and packing a liquid crystal in the gap from the injection port, irradiated with UV and cured to cap the injection port, the plural liquid crystal display element cells 12 are arrayed and a transfer roller 76 uniformly and collectively transferring the UV curing capping material in a wetting state to each injection port and capping the injection port is provided.</p> |
