MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THERMAL PROTECTIVE FIBER

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of thermal protective fiber which is characterized by having excellent thermo-keeping property, electrostatic property and thermal storage property is provided. The thermal protective fiber is useful for high-grade clothes. CONSTITUTION: Thermal protective fiber is obtained by the steps of: adding and blending 0.3-10wt.% of a ceramic filler into fiber; and then adding 1-15wt.% of a conductive material selected from the group containing carbon, nickel, copper sulfide, a metallic compound and metal having low melting-point. The ceramic filler is zirconium carbide.
