PURPOSE: To provide a material for an electron gun electrode having high corrosion resistance and to provide a material exhibiting good corrosion resistance even after heat treatment and free from the generation of rust both in the process of production and after production. CONSTITUTION: This Fe-Cr-Ni based alloy for an electron gun electrode having excellent corrosion resistance has a composition containing, by mass, 15 to 20% Cr, 9 to 15% Ni, 0.2 to 2.5% Mn and 0.001 to 0.04% C, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
