PURPOSE: A tunnel type charnel house is provided to have a memorial service regardless of bad weather and to place family urns in one place. CONSTITUTION: The tunnel type charnel house comprises: a stone embankment(10) enshrining many urns inward, and containing many air holes(11) formed on both side walls and partition plates provided with air holes(11) connected to the air holes(11) to form many housing rooms(40), the housing room(40) houses a loess box provided with air holes(11) connected to the air holes(11) of the partition plate; a cover plate covering up the front opening of the stone embankment(10) and interposing between the partition plate and the partition plate, a finishing plate is coupled on the front of the partition plate located between the cover plate and the cover plate by a bolt to let the cover plate adhere closely to the loess box; and a mound(30) formed on the top of the stone embankment(10).
