PURPOSE: A mound type charnel house is provided to make drainage of a mound smooth without an additional drain outlet, to remove moisture in a housing room effectively by ventilating effectively and to preserve the original form of an urn for a long time by protecting against insects. CONSTITUTION: The mound type charnel house comprises the steps of housing a loess box(20) provided with an air hole(11) connected to an air hole(11) of a partition plate in a housing room, coupling a finishing plate(22) on the front of a partition plate(12) located between a cover plate(21) and a cover plate(21) by a bolt(23), forming an inner space(17) on each corner where a stone embankment(10) and a stone embankment(10) meet, forming an air hole(11) connected to an air hole(11) of the stone embankment(10) on an inner wall, installing a connecting stone embankment(15) provided with a ventilating hole(16) where the outside air flows in an outer wall, and putting a mound on the top of the stone embankment(10) in a space formed on the center of the stone embankment(10).
