PURPOSE: A device for supporting the bar of transmission gearshift is provided to easily control tolerance to the bar and improve noise characteristic, durability, and convenience of driving by reducing resistance in selecting gear shifting lever. CONSTITUTION: A device for supporting the bar of transmission gearshift includes a housing(20), a ball case(24), plural balls(28), a roller(32), and a tolerance control member. The housing has a through hole(20a) and is fixed to the vehicle body. The ball case is composed of a fixing unit(24b) equipped with a through hole(24a) having a bar(26) and fixed to the housing, and a protrusion(24c). The protrusion forms plural inserting holes for plural balls(24d) penetrating the peripheral face. The plural balls are inserted in the ball inserting holes and rotate in shifting and selection of the bar. The roller is installed to the inner space formed the housing and the ball case and has interlocking rotation with the ball. The tolerance control member controls tolerance between the roller and the balls by controlling relative position of the roller to the housing and the ball case. By making the diameter of the ball-inserting holes smaller than the balls, friction, resistance, and wear can be reduced when the balls are rotates according to the shifting and selecting of the bar. |
