DEFORMATION PREVENTION SYSTEM FOR SLAB PILE CONVEYOR

PURPOSE: A deformation prevention system for a slab pile conveyor is provided which improves operation of the conveyor and extends life cycles of the conveyor and related components, thus maintains sufficient durability thereof by preventing heat deformation on the conveyor. CONSTITUTION: In constructing a deformation prevention system for preventing deformation of the conveyor due to high heat conducted from the slab on a slab pile conveyor(10) playing a role of transferring the slab to a heating furnace before the rolling process so that the slab is heated to a temperature suitable for rolling, the deformation prevention system for the slab pile conveyor is characterized in that the deformation prevention system comprises a cooling means(51) for cooling and emitting the high heat conducted from the slab and guiding means(52) for preventing longitudinal deformation of the conveyor(10), the cooling means(51) is equipped with an inlet pipe(54) through which cooling water is filled into the upper part that is formed by dividing the inner part of a main body(11) of the conveyor(10) using a separation plate(53) and an outlet pipe(55) for discharging cooling water of a high temperature, a plurality of legs(56,57) for emitting high heat conducted from the slab are formed on the upper surface of the main body(11) of the conveyor(10), and the guiding means(52) comprise guide rollers(60) which are longitudinally installed at both sides of the main body(11) so that the guide rollers(60) are continuously contacted with liners of the inner side of fixed beams that are installed at upper and lower sides of traveling wheels.
