The present invention relates to a control module for a mobile unit, the control module comprising a plurality of user operable control members and a multiplexing unit. In particular, the present invention relates to a plurality of user controllable/user accessible members, such as volume controls or switches, connected to an integrated control circuit, such as an ASIC, in order to multiplex a plurality of controls signals generated by the plurality of user controllable/user accessible members. The multiplexed control signal is provided from the ASIC to a DSP of the mobile unit for further processing. |
