COOLING APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING HEAT SHRINKABLE TUBE USING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN

PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus for manufacturing a heat shrinkable tube is provided to have a uniform thickness and a desired size of an outer diameter by cooling rapidly a tube of a high temperature and a low viscosity by a sequential cooling manner and preventing a deformation of the tube due to a water pressure. CONSTITUTION: A cooling apparatus for manufacturing a heat shrinkable tube comprises a cooling die(10), a vacuum die(20), a water tank(30) and a take off roller(40). A resin extruding from an extruding die is passed vertically, and is cooled rapidly by contacting with cooling water at the cooling die. A tube of a tubular shape induced by passing the cooling die is passed through at the vacuum die(20), and the tube maintains an outer diameter by a vacuum absorbing pressure at the vacuum die. The water tank(30) stores water of a certain temperature, and the tube induced from the vacuum die is cooled again. The take off roller(40) pulls and transfers the tube in a certain speed.
