A locking device (1) at loading flaps (2) for vehicles or the like. The device (1) has a locking components (3) arranged to co-operate with a lock fitting (5) at a vehicle part (4) adjacent to the flap (2), and which locking component (3) is attached to an elongated slide (7), which is displaceable in a groove (6) in the flap (2) by means of a lever (8). The slide (7) has at least one guide channel (9), along which a guide member (10) arranged at the first end of the lever (8) is arranged to be pushed. The guide channel (9) is delimited at each end thereof by a stop (11), which stops are arranged to transfer a pushing movement to teh slide (7), and thereby to the locking component (3), in a direction coincident with a prolongation of the guide channel (9). At the lever (8) there is an arm (12) pivotally mounted, the opposite end of which is pivotally mounted at the groove (6). A spring (13) is arranged at the arm (12) and arranged to hold the lever (8) in the respective end position thereof. |
