The invention relates to a multilayered gas diffusion electrode which contains at least one gas diffusion layer or gas distribution layer or substrate and a catalyst layer. Between the gas diffusion layer or gas distribution layer or a substrate and the catalyst layer, this gas diffusion electrode has at least one buffer layer for controlling the gas and water management. The invention also relates to a method for producing a gas diffusion electrode, to a membrane electrode arrangement, to a method for producing this membrane electrode arrangement and to the use thereof in a fuel cell. |
