PURPOSE: A method for preparing compost using the sewage sludge is provided, to recycle the sewage sludge which is generated from the primarily treated sewage and drainage without the environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing sludge with the powdered calcium oxide in the ratio of 1 : 0.1-10 by weight, and heating the mixture indirectly at a temperature of 150-400 deg.C for 0.1-0.25 hours; adding calcium sulfide to the mixture in the ratio of 1 : 0.1-10 by weight and stirring the mixture for 0.1-0.25 hours to reduce the moisture content below 30%; and adding any one between illite and germanium and the yellow soil component to the mixture in the ratio of 1 : 0.1-10 by weight to prepare the granulate with a size of 2-5 mm and drying it to solidify the granulate.
