ARRAY TYPE PRINT HEAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ARRAY TYPE PRINT HEAD

PURPOSE: An array type print head and method for manufacturing the same is provided to achieve improved print quality and productivity through the minimized heater chip misalignment and enhanced accuracy of ink discharge position, while lengthening useful life of print head. CONSTITUTION: An array type print head(100) comprises nozzle plates(110) where unit nozzles(111) constituted by a plurality of through holes are arranged at a constant pattern; a plurality of heater chips(120) coupled to the nozzle plates at the state where the heater chips are aligned to correspond to each unit nozzle; a print bar(130) having an ink supply channel(131) formed to be communicated to each of unit nozzles, wherein the print bar is coupled to the nozzle plate; and a position determination unit for aligning the heater chips to correspond to unit nozzles. The position determination unit includes slit type open portions(113a,113b) formed at a predetermined position around the unit nozzle; and an alignment mark(122) formed at the heater chip so as to be aligned with the slit type open portions.
