PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a construction prop made of waste synthetic fiber, and the construction prop, are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost thereof by utilizing waste material, and to improve wear-corrosion, durability, a cutting property, and so on thereof. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method for a construction prop containing waste synthetic fiber as a main component comprises the steps of; cutting the waste synthetic fiber supplied through a first conveyor(12) and a first hopper(13) into a length of 5 to 20 centimeters; transferring the cut waste synthetic fiber through a second conveyor(15), a constant amount feeder(16), conveyor(15), a dust removal cyclone(17), a second hopper(18), and a third conveyor(19) provided with a scraper for processing the waste synthetic fiber into a uniform thickness; compressing the waste synthetic fiber; cutting them again to have a length of 1 to 2 centimeters and stacking them on a stainless plate; molding the waste synthetic fiber stacked in fivefold on the stainless plate by alternately compressing them with two compressive molding machines(22); cooling the molded product to a temperature of 20 to 30 deg.C; processing the product into a hexahedral shape construction prop form after drying them; and stacking the completed construction prop on a pallet.
