PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for recalling all call paging in an exchange system is provided to increase the convenience of a user by recalling objects who didn't respond to all call paging at the time for all call paging, and by providing all call paging service to the objects without special all call paging. CONSTITUTION: A recall service block(300) is basically composed of a recall control block(310) and a recall object database(320). The recall control block(310) stores status information on objects who didn't responds to all call paging at the time for all call paging. In addition, the recall control block(310) receives a recall functional code and recalls the objects to be recalled. The recall control block(310) stores objects who responds to the all call paging in a response object storing unit(114). Simultaneously, the recall control block(310) removes the objects from a call release object storing unit(116). The recall object database(320) searches status information on the recall objects stored.
