PURPOSE: A system for an advertisement and a supplementary service and a method for managing the same are provided to make a relay server convert a protocol of a user-requested web document into a protocol adapted to a wireless terminal of a user and supply supplementary information with advertisement information while the converted web document is transmitted by searching a wireless Internet site or inputting an address directly, thereby requesting a web document. CONSTITUTION: Databases(700,750) store a telephone number of each registered wireless terminal(100/1-100/n), a plurality of supplementary service information for being supplied to the wireless terminal(100/1-100/n), and a plurality of advertisement information. A supplementary information extracting unit(620) responds to a web document request from a predetermined wireless terminal, requests a transmission of a web document to the corresponding contents provider, extracts supplementary service information and advertisement information selected by a service request wireless terminal from the databases(700,750), and supplies the information to the service request wireless terminal. If the web document is supplied from the corresponding contents provider, a protocol conversion unit(630) checks whether a protocol of a received web document is identified with a protocol of the service request wireless terminal. If a protocol of a received web document is not identified with a protocol of the service request wireless terminal, the protocol conversion unit(630) converts the protocol of the received web document into the protocol of the service request wireless terminal. A document conversion unit(610) converts the converted web document or the web document into a corresponded web document for an advertisement and a supplementary service, and supplies the converted web document into the service request wireless terminal.
