The fishing rod has a rib (2) and a handgrip (1) in which is incorporated a motor for driving a line (29) roller (12) with separate flanges (14,15). The line runs out from the rib via a running eyelet (28) in the area of the free end of the rib. On the rib in the area between the line roller flanges in a second running eyelet (30) via which the line can run out in a part (20') passing an outer flange (14). At least one stop unit (22) works in conjunction with the outer flange, which on the one hand permits motor-driven rotation of the line roller in a first rotary direction (A) without hindering the line, and on the other hand prevents the line roller from free-wheeling in an opposite rotary direction. |
