HIGH RUBBER IMPACT MODIFIER POWDERS

PURPOSE: A powdery high rubber impact modifier composition containing two or more populations of polymer particles having 90% by weight or more of a total rubbery weight fraction is provided. Therefore, the composition can be dried into powders and is useful for increasing impact strength of various matrix resins. CONSTITUTION: The powdery high rubber impact modifier composition contains polymer particles of a first formulation and polymer particles of a second formulation and a flow additive, wherein an average particle diameter of polymer particles of the first formulation is at least 50% or larger than that of polymer particles of the second formulation. The polymer particles of the first formulation have an average particle diameter in the range of 10 to 5,000nm.
