The invention concerns a method for identifying novel molecules binding with scavenger receptors and signalled via a Toll receptor, and the use of said identified novel molecules for preparing a pharmaceutical composition, in particular for prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of viral, bacterial, parasitic and fungal infections or for prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of cancers.
