PURPOSE: A dredging rod joint of a dredging machine is provided to lead a rapid work for passing the dredging rod into a drainpipe by directing convex and concave portions such as a spline structure at different outer circumferential sides of right and left jointing portions and continuously forming the convex and concave portions around the circumferential side. CONSTITUTION: The dredge rod joint(3) is formed in a cylindrical shape body and comprises a right screw joint portion(3a) and a left screw joint portion(3b) and an intermediate portion(31) having a hole(32) with an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the joint portions(3a, 3b) for passing a driver through. On inner circumferential side of the right screw joint portion(3a), a right screw is formed while a left screw being formed on inner circumferential side of the left screw joint portion(3b). The dredge rod joint(3) is provided to a dredging rod further comprising a number of joint rods(1) with bent ends at right angle and both ends faced each other and hollowed nut bodies(2a, 2b) pre-inserted in each of the joint rods.
