DICOM BASED PACS VIEW APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) based PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System) view apparatus and method are provided to extend a view function of the PACS to easily add new functions to the system. CONSTITUTION: A DICOM based PACS view apparatus includes a multi-Exam processor(10), a display processor, and a diagnosis processor(30). The multi-Exam processor processes multiple Exam outputs. The display processor is connected with the multi-Exam processor, and perform interfacing with a graphic device of a terminal to output images on a screen. The diagnosis processor is connected with the multi-Exam processor and the display processor, has functions required for diagnoses in a module and processes the module. The multi-Exam processor, the display processor, and the diagnosis processor are in separate modules to perform the view function of the PACS.
